Here is the ear with the cartilage removed.
Here's the cartilage that I removed from the ear.
There you have it, an ear with the cartilage removed ready to be fitted with an earliner!
I've marked on this earliner the part of the ear butt that will be removed before I start taking the cartilage off. As you can see I want to leave the part that will be tucked in the front of the earliner intact.
